Re: Decorations

Well we already put out our Christmas Tree, but we haven't gotten around to decorating it yet. Every year at church we make ornaments, and this year we also made some for shut-ins. I usually also go Christmas caroling with the youth group(and parents) from church, and participate in the Christmas pl...

Re: "Everything is God's fault."

This especially never made sense, since those same people won't use it the other way. If something awful or heinous happens why does it mean that God is at fault or he doesn't exist. Then they would also have to say that if something great and wonderful happens then God is responsible for it and so ...

Re: The tragedy of Keith Kilgore...

I can't believe that this article is around 2 years old, and I as well as many people have never heard it before, I am very glad that you posted this. It makes me thankful that the college I am hoping to go to is a Christian college. I am very disappointed that the professor and school were not made...

Re: Please Introduce Yourself Here

Hey, I'm Taylor! I'll be 13 in a little over two weeks, but I've been called an "old soul" by many. Umm...what else? My mom's atheist, my older brother's agnostic, and my dad and I don't talk enough for me to know, lol. My grandparents are Christian, but I guess I've pretty much chosen th...

Re: Denominations

I attend an independent non-deminational church when I attend organizational church services. I think the word denominations only applies to man made institutions and organizations. The body of Christ knows no denominations. You're either a part of the living body of Christ or you're not. I was jus...

Denominations

I was just curious about the specific denominations of everyone here.

So what denomination is the church you usually attend?

You could read A Skeptic's Search for God by Ralph O. Muncaster.

Here is a review of the book if you want to know more about it.

http://www.adherents.com/gov/Founding_Fathers_Religion.html I hope this website can help you. For the specific religion of each founding father scroll down, and if you click on the religion beside their name it will take you to a page about them that explains more. Don't think that this page is 100%...

Re: I Have Never Experienced God Personally

Though I know nobody has poster here in a while, I just had to. I was feeling lik this earlier today, I was frustrated because I felt like I didn't know if God was actually listening or not, and I felt somewhat alone. Of course the day that happens, I start browsing and I find this post. ;) This rea...

This is a good example of what listen to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUwdpVV99eY I have to say, that sounded very beautiful. I listen to a lot of different types of music, but one song I have been listening to a lot lately is Cassie by Flyleaf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPL-jKz5Vuw
