Two things: 1) When our salvation is complete, the sin nature will be completely destroyed. 2) The descriptions of new heaven do not include any objects similar to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It appears that we will not need to sin anymore. Revelation 21:27. Sin will still exist beca...

Time is in God. We cannot grasp the concept of the end of time - That is eternity. The answer for us is that when we try to see the beginning, we see God. When we try to see the end, we see God again! Interesting... I always thought that God was outside of time...not time in God... God is from ever...

Re: Sin

Hebrews 6:4-6 talks about those who believe, yet don't repent, but does it mean they won't be saved or what? 1 John 2:3-4 Further to what August mentioned in the second post above - If someone wilfully sins, he is denying Jesus. If he denies Jesus, then he is denied the forgiveness found in Jesus. ...

Revelation 21:3 Depends on your end time theology. In glorified bodies, I believe we can still recognise each other and deal with temporal things. Also, the new heaven will be on the new earth. That suggests that heaven currently is a waiting place for spirits. The reunion with sleeping souls will o...

RGeeB, one sign to look for which will clearly signify the end times is the universal persecution of Christians. is it just me, or has this started? for some reason, i see it everywhere i look. Christians still can express their faith freely in western countries. Let me make bold statement - Laws a...

To a Jew well versed in the OT scriptures, all you have to show is that Jesus is alive. You can do it now or at the second coming of Jesus.

Someone mentioned once that the Jews are the most difficult race in the world to get along with. Could be that this is a love test for Christians?

So, in answer to your question: Ten or fifteen years from now, I'm going to marry someone. I might marry another woman later if my wife is okay with it, and she can marry another man if she feels like she wants to expand. I care so much about this subject because I want to save marriage. How would ...

The evidence points to a young John Mark overhearing Jesus. No one can say for certain though. From a search I did: Mark knew eyewitnesses The Gospel of Mark was written by an individual who may have been only a partial witness to Jesus' life and teachings. Should this invalidate his Gospel account?...

The key is the increased frequency and the simultaneous occurance of the events. Jesus likens them to birth pains. Another sign which I've observed is that the love of many is growing cold, within families and communities. One sign to look out for which will clearly signify the last of the last days...

It has been speculated that Mark must have overheard it when he followed Jesus to the garden. Incidentally, John mentions a young observer who fled away naked when the gaurds came to capture Jesus. (I've also read somewhere that the last supper house may have been his.)

Practical reasons - how many men can say that they can successfully handle more than one woman in today's society. Also, Paul laid down some high standards of love a man should have for his woman. If most men struggle to imitate Christ's love with just one woman, what makes people think that having ...
