Re: Homosexuality and destroying faith

I can't bring myself to condemn homosexuality vehemently. I leave that to God. I have a list of irritations that are far higher on my list: Murderers, rapists, child molesters, promiscuity, abuse of authority, thieves, child abuse, spousal abuse, belligerence, bigotry, and a host of others. By the t...

Re: Where is Polygamy condemned in the Bible?

Yeah, God did seem to lay more trials on the polygamists. Not only that, but there can really be no greater balance before God than a husband and a wife who are given unto each other wholly.

Re: Corinthians 1

Interesting query, however biblical marriage only requires intention and witness, after that only your devotion to each other. Then again King David was married to more women than days of the year, so I'm unsure how that factors in to current views of matrimony. As for ceremony, you can get that at ...

Re: Is "self defence" fine or wrong?

It seems to me that it is the right of the strong to defend and uphold the weak. Some of us are born to protect and defend. I will say that though I have acted only when absolutely necessary, should at the end of my days God find me unworthy because of it, I will accept whatever judgment I have earn...

Re: Christian Testimonies - Share yours?

I grew up in a french Catholic family, though my mother was first an Atheist, then an agnostic an later a Christian before her death at the age of 42. My earliest church experiences were meaningless, though throughout my entire life I have had an uncanny affinity with nature and wild animals. At the...

Re: im scared!!!!!!

There is no need for fear when your faith is complete, nor is there any room for it. I pray the serenity and absolution you need finds you, for it comes from the Lord. There is no doubt in my heart and my mind that this world is crumbling, for the kings of this world are wearing heavy crowns filled ...

There is no joy greater than a child, and I pray for the three of you to remain strong for each other. Even apart two parents can be there to remind your dear child that they are loved, and all are loved in the sight of God. We cannot know the future, but I can tell you from my own experience as a f...

As good as any place to begin

I would like to ask your help in praying for my family, last year my little cousin was raped and murdered, this year the killer was sentenced, after several plea bargains. Needless to say he will be out in 16 years, just in time for her son's 20th birthday. I myself pray for them (incidentally mysel...
