Re: But you are here.

Been a crazy year Rick. Gave up my teaching job - went back to software and had another baby. Been on a bit of a journey with my faith, in a good way I think.

But you are here.

Thought I would post this poem I wrote. Hope you like it. But you are here. If I woke to a summer’s day With the gentle breeze blowing my way And the birds singing sweetly in the trees But you’re not there, would I care? If I heard a voice so pure Singing melodies so sure Rousing choruses exquisitel...

Re: 160 Dead as church collapses.

I wasn't blaming God Rick. It just makes you pause at times to wonder what his plan is.

160 Dead as church collapses.

I believe in an Omni-benevolant God, but sometimes it is hard to see what is plan is when something like this happens.

Re: EU Referendum

I am voting remain. I just think to leave is selfish and looking to our own interests. In the European Union we have free movement, God is bringing the nations to us and the potential for evangelism is increased - plus they are our neighbours and we should not abandon them. There has been a steady g...

EU Referendum

Please could you pray for my country today as we vote whether or not to stay in the EU. It is a decision that will affect us for generations to come and I personally am generally very worried about what the result could be. It has been a huge thing over here with literally the country divided on opi...

Re: Questions about the bible !

I had believe 10 years that the Bible is true . Now i am not so sure . Here are some of the problems that i found: The story of Creation - in the Bible it says God created the universe and life in just 6 days in this order first the Earth, then the Sun,Moon, the stars and finally life but science te...

Re: Political Predictions 2016

Britain will leave the EU allowing Boris Johnson to become prime minister. Trump will become president. Two oafs on both side of the Atlantic - world war 3 ensues - Armageddon and then the second coming......in that order.

Concerning my thoughts are kinda 50%/50% (mother language and English), if you know 3 or more languages, does it go to 33%/33%/33%, 25%/25%/25%/25%, etc?

I am fluent in English, Slang and Profanity.

Re: "What group am I?"

Need more info. Everything you've said, fits into Theistic Evolution and Progressive Creation. But, if you don't feel like you need to choose one or the other, you're in good company. William Lane Craig has said that he believes something in the middle of TE and PC. That is probably where fit. - Al...

Re: The Quran is a more violent book than the Bible

In Genesis, God tells Abraham that the Canaanites have not reached the level of sin to be judged. God gave them 400 years to repent of their wicked ways and it was wicked, including child sacrifice. In fact everything about the laws in the Torah was a mirror of what was going on in the land around t...

Re: Can of worms...

Thank you Jac - That is another very interesting interpretation - one definitely worth considering. However I still think the historical context stands in this one as well - as Ephesus was a pagan centre and was heavily influenced by the goddess Diana and her temple. It seemed to be that the women t...
