Re: AIG-Big Bang Video
Byblos, again, I'm not calling him a false witness for Christ because of his stance. I am questioning his witness for Christ because of his dishonest representation of OEC big bang believers. If I or any true Christian has a system that we promote, I expect an honest look at other views. He is teach...

Re: AIG-Big Bang Video
Byblos, You are still missing my point. Maybe I'm not making myself clear. I'm sorry. I'm not attempting to refute his science or theology. I'm saying he is not being an honest witness because of his misrepresentation of big bang believers. He is making statements about big bang believers that are ...

Re: AIG-Big Bang Video
I listened to the entire lecture and I must confess, I came away with the impression the guy knew what he was talking about. Here's a guy who's a PHD in astrophysics, who is infinitely smarter than me and I would venture to guess smarter than the majority of us, and who can reconcile his scientific...

AIG-Big Bang Video
I was searching the Answers in Genesis website, and came across this video: http://www.answersingenesis.org/media/video/ondemand/aa-big-bang/aa-big-bang I cannot express how I feel after watching this. Jason Lisle COMPLETELY misrepresents the OEC theory about the Big Bang. Is this man a Christian? I...

Re: Advance Directives and DNR
Thanks. I'm figuring out the levels now. Research and pray. My Mom, my sister, and I went through dnr in September when my Dad was in hospice care. My Mom didn't really like the idea at first until we really talked about it. I know it's not the same as planning ahead, but praying that God will lead...

Re: Adam, Where art thou?
Danny, I'm just searching for the truth, and looking for a biblical basis for any reasoning you have. I don't mind if you deluge me with what you know. I also don't believe this has any salvation relevence, as long as One can make a biblical case. So, hit me with all ya got. I see a lot of these iss...

Re: Adam, Where art thou?
Can someone please read this article and tell me if #3 Adam our representative has any biblical merit? Please tell me what you think one way or the other. Is it possible biblically, or not possible biblically. It is very interesting, and I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks http://home.comcast....

Danny, I started watching that debate, and listened to the first part of Hovind's opening. A lot of his predictions aren't even predictions. A football prediction would be as follows: The Indianapolis Colts have a great offense that no other team can stop, so I predict they will win the 2010 superbo...

Re: yec website?
But that's part of the problem. They "win" debates not on scholarship but on the bully pulpit and on making fun of their opponents. By making their audience laugh at the opponent, they win the audience but not the debate. He also tends to use the audience's fears to his advantage. By usin...

Re: YEC, OEC? How'd you get there?
Here's a site with a huge amount of exegetical resources and reference for Romans 5:12. You'll see there quite a large number that do indeed see it as "mankind". It's a highly disputed point. http://preceptaustin.org/romans_513-21.htm For me this may be a good illustration of what some sy...

Danny, If Hovind stumped any evolutionists, I don't think it was because of his science knowledge. I'm saying I've seen evolutionists ridicule him for his scientific beliefs. As opposed to someone like Hugh Ross absolutely destroying Hovind in that debate. Ross was a gentleman; evolutionists that I...
