Re: Manchester terrorist attack...

34% would inform the police if they thought somebody they knew was getting involved with people who support terrorism in Syria So, here we are with Muslims already living in a democratic country, enjoying its freedoms and opportunities, and yet a THIRD of them wouldn't tip the police concerning peo...

Re: Being an introvert

I just feel I'd have so much more confidence if I was an extravert. Ah, what's an "extravert?" My default nature is being introverted - but I am often quite extroverted in my interactions with others. But I need lots of time alone - and my wife is a bit like that. As I care much more abou...

Re: My journey

Fantastic news to hear, Annette. Often, God grows us through difficult times - as it's when we're most open to growth, when He's truly got our attention, and when we are closest to Him. When everything is going great, we don't seem to listen nearly as well. Christians are all in process of God refin...

Re: Manchester terrorist attack...

Ah, where to start the response? Of COURSE all Muslims are not evil - I'm not even close to asserting such. Ed: Evil can be cold, calculating, and completely rational. Look at the Holocaust. Madmen couldn't have handled the logistics of finding and collecting millions of people, transporting them ac...

Re: Manchester terrorist attack...

Ed: It's not that simple, Phil. A lot of things that were set in motion by previous administrations are still issues, and will likely continue to be, so current policy is only one of many factors. Besides that, asking which policies are hurting Islamic countries implies that they all have the same i...

Re: Was the Emperor Constantine TRULY a Christian?

Very interesting statements by John Ankerberg on Constantine possible conversion - don't know if any of you noticed this from my recent posts on whether God gives modern day people prophetic gifts. I greatly respect Ankerberg - and he's well thought of by many important evangelical leaders - Norman ...

Re: Illuminati Plan A Fake Antichrist Before The False Messiah

Neo: I'm amazed that people can believe in illuminati and end time theories in such a staunch way without any authentic evidence. Scripture teaches the concept - but not with presently specifics. We know the world is a battle ground for unseen powers and an evil army. But how that army will organiz...

Re: Why every Christian should be thanking Donald Trump.

Would any disciple or apostle in the Bible have supported Trump? No way! Clearly, millions of them did! And the reason is NOT because they thought tremendously highly of Trump. It's, as Rick intoned, that Hillary and co. was perceived as far more dangerous and corrupt. Her values alone, as how they...

that doesn't change the fact that it's a response to American and Western European foreign policy.

Re: Manchester terrorist attack...

People have problems with actions of governments - I get that. I do as well. Not just other countries' governments and actions, but many of our own. The average Joe civilian has zero control over a government with so many pockets of power and secret activities that we can't even properly investigate...
