Re: Gone But Not Forgotten!

Changed the photo because I didn't want anyone to think there was a political motivation behind the post. It was just an interesting photo. BTW. Chuck also played at Clinton's' inauguration.

Re: Does God Tinker with the Universe?

Stu: God tinkers with humans. So I see no reason He would not tinker with the universe. Of course, God can do things however He wants to, as HE is both the Cause of things and their Rule Maker. Stu: A rogue asteroid heading for earth for instance could be redirected by God. No where in the Bible do...

Re: Evolving from Simple to Complex?

K: Some have wrongly conceived of my Progressive Creation position as God tinkering with creation. BUT, that's not how I see it at all. It's not that God necessarily all the way through on each day over hundreds of millions of years "tinkered" with this species and that species. Rather li...

Does God Tinker with the Universe?

The whole idea of God tinkering suggests that He might have created one thing, later decided to change it, or begin anew, or whatever - as if He is experimenting, or needs to - is ridiculous! We have to remember that such things are being speculated upon per how a MAN thinks and what he can know and...

Clay, wasn't sure what you meant. Just "down" often refers to hell - and Satan is not THERE, he's HERE.

Re: New Theological discourse happening

All of that dilutes the Gospel and/or stands in direct contradiction to it. It's like there being only one correct answer to a test question, and despite whatever other options, one insists that one of them be "ALL of the above." But a circle can't be a square, black can't be white, etc.

Clay: One night I said a prayer for God to reveal how he thought about me, and God took me down to the devil's realm
Clay, what do you mean: "... the devil's realm?" WHERE was that?

What happens to Christians who join Masons?

Answer: They become a Jar....
Uh, no further need to contemplate a comedy career.

Re: My favorite band

Take away Tim's weirdness and ridiculous effeminate posturings, and I can see Roy Orbison doing this tune in a very similar falsetto. Tim was a marketing genius - as being solidly heterosexual, he ramped up his silly homosexual posturing and weirdness as it brought huge interest and fame. He was not...

I'm nostalgic for the good old days when the leftists liked the commies. In fact, they WERE commies. :pound:

Wow, Clay - that has to win the "Wildest First Post Award." Welcome to the forum. How old are you? Do you attend a church or are you in regular fellowship with mature Christians? Did you remarry? Where do yo live?

I happen to be one of the forum's moderators.

Calling All Geeks: "How do I ... ?" Etc.

There's a lot of smart people on this forum, and there are a lot of technically challenged, like I sometimes am. So, I thought I'd start a thread to ask questions that other might be able to help with. Question: How do I turn off the stupid auto-correct - both on a PC and on a tablet? I tried some t...
