Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

To say/believe as though God doesn't exist, when you see it is rational to minimally believe God exists as the foundation to everything else that moves and has being, is being intellectually dishonest with yourself.

Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

But, if you rationally concede God is necessary, and then live saying God doesn't exist because God remains hidden and unknowable, then essentially you're living with a lie. May as well remain honest with yourself, no? Well; you wouldn't be living a lie, you would be telling a lie. But why would a ...

Re: AIG / Young Earth Geologic Age Positions Critiqued

Neo, just wondering... do you believe our consciousness is far above that of any other species, homind or otherwise, to have existed? Could it be that "humans in the image of God" doesn't lay so much in the physical, but rather moreso in the behavioural side (i.e., higher level behaviour c...

Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

I think Atheists live like Theists anyhow, since much of their accepted framework is born out of Judeo-Christian precepts. But, if you rationally concede God is necessary, and then live saying God doesn't exist because God remains hidden and unknowable, then essentially you're living with a lie. May...

Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

However if I were to try this experiment now, the God I would make a case for would be similar to the one you worship, except he wouldn’t involve himself in human affairs. Sorta like planting a seed and just watching it grow without interference on his part. A God that chooses to remain hidden with...

Seems obvious to me that Fallen angel/human hybrids gave them the date.

Yes. Well, since there is silence on the method used, I suppose that could be true. Did Abe do the study? :P

Make sure you watch out for bridges, sometimes they don't give way.

Re: Need a little advice

Just think Rick, women aren't the best drivers. :P What if your wife cut someone off or the like, and then a guy got out of his car and started abusing her? So, next time, just picture it being your wife in the other car. If you get out, ask them to make you a sandwich or something. ;)

Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

As a side, quantum experiments have shown an observer is needed to have photons behave like matter (particles), otherwise a wave effect is had. Therefore, it seems that we don't just need energy, but also consciousness of some sort to move (convert) energy into matter. In other words, consciousness...

Re: How Do You Feel About Death?

I'm kinda scared of it, sometimes i'm not though. Some forms of death I am scared of. Sometimes I have doubts as to if there's an afterlife, and that death is the end of it all. But I realize the evidence to the contrary so I accept an afterlife. Would you seriously be scared of death if there was ...

Re: BDSM in the marriage bed

LOL. Get married and then work it out with your wife. LOL indeed, but this is about sexuality so I thought it was ok to say. It's hard these days to get married, so many things including a high chance for divorce or marital strife and other double standard things. Surely we know about the no fault ...

Re: Past Presidents Comments on Immigration

The thing about liberals wanting open borders, amnesty for all, and extra rights for illegal immigrants is - to put it extremely charitably - a "mischaracterization." Since the rest of the commentary is based on that dishonest premise it's all nonsense. You guys might want to try listenin...
