Re: Question about faith
Sorta, it's more like The "I want to study and read the bible" part of my brain is starting to beat out the "I want to study my languages" part. It's definately not a bad thing, I just thought it was weird that something that I've invested a lot of time in is taking a backseat s...

Polar Bears have Armies NICEGman wrote: I again agree with you mad... No we shouldn't judge or fight against a certain race of people because of their heritage. But if an army of people, let's say an army from Greenland started shooting at another country, they just might shoot back.

Re: Modest Dress and Headcoverings: Male Response?
:esurprised: Yes, one wouild think that, but simply because it looks naturale doesn't exclude the fact that it doesn't compliometn and flatter. From a guys perspective, wouldn't you agree that a good men's haircut is one that is flattering and well-groomed and yet doesn't scream "I just went t...

Re: The Sabbath
If the Sabbath was "done away" then why did Christ call Himself "lord of the SABBATH"? God plainly states in the bible "I CHANGE NOT". Jesus also said he did not come to do away with the law, but to fulfill it. The Sabbath has not changed. God said it would be a "...

Re: Narnia
I love the Narnia books, and I like The Magician's Nephew the most. This is for a few reasons. I absolutely love the creation section, with it's descriptions and the various people's responses. This book is funny, has a lot of variety in it, a lot of action, and a lot of real emotion. If done right...

How is it going with Selling Kirby's. They are very nice machines! Don't like the selling tactics mind you but the Kirby Power speaks for itself!

Re: Disasters
Over 100,000 dead in Burma. Nearly 50,000 dead in China. Even though I know God doesn't cause these disasters and they are made worse by Human selfishness and greed - I still question why God Permits these things. I have faith that God will bring the best situation out of these disasters but from o...

Re: Speaking in tongues.
Being from a Pentecostal Church (Not Background however) I hear Tongues quite a bit. My Mother-In-Law prays in it constantly. Really to me it is just Gibberish and I can't understand what she is talking about. Sometimes it makes me feel inferior as I have never spoken in Tongues before. One thing th...

Re: Leprosy, mildew--scientific? (Lev 13-14)
Barnes Talks about it a bit. I am not exactly sure what you are looking for here. Leviticus 13 - Lev. 13—14: The Laws Relating to Leprosy The leprosy is the most terrible of all the disorders to which the body of man is subject. There is no disease in which hope of recovery is so nearly extinguished...
