Re: Lust
I had a quick back and forth in the mini chat about whether or not looking at an attractive woman, in and of itself, is considered lust. I figured that I would put it out there for others to chime in on. i said looking at a women because shes attractive would be lust not just casually looking. you ...

Re: Was Jesus Resurrection actually on a Sunday?
Sure Bav. Everything is a sin that is against God's will. Murder included. But to think that your defense in terms of the decalouge being part of the law, is a reductio ad absurdum, is a disappointing argument. Why would you think that I would not see the obvious? Instead of putting me in a "G...

Re: Caught In Hail Storm
The fact that Jesus didn’t say it in this words does not mean we are to keep it. We are free from the law.

Re: Was Jesus Resurrection actually on a Sunday?
If we take the scripture ONLY and only what is explicitly stated then the one thing we do know is that Mary and the others went on the first day of the week ( Sunday), period. That is not contestable. Was it even called "Sunday" back then? I think they used the proper names for the weekda...

Re: Caught In Hail Storm
The text doesn't say who was present on the 7th day. How is this relevant? Likewise there exists no text that says, "I God...remove the 4th commandment"... ( or the whole of the 10 for that matter ) If it does exist, then provide it, pls. . . Likewise there is no text about the rapture do...

Re: Was Jesus Resurrection actually on a Sunday?
it couldn’t of been Sunday resurrection as the Bible tells us marry went early before the sunrise You are misstating what the Scriptural text says... John 20:1 explicitly says that Mary went to the tomb on the first day of the week (ie Sunday) (just like all three of the other Gospels say). The tex...

Re: Bible's Original Writings: ALL Inspired, Partially, or None Is?
Were ALL of the original writings of the Bible's canon of Scripture God-inspired, as to what to put down, what to include? Or were only parts of it inspired, with the rest a blend of mere myths, fictions, and some even deliberate fabrications from the imaginations of man? Men are failable mortals, ...

Re: Was Jesus Resurrection actually on a Sunday?
What people don’t understand is that there are 7 Holy shabbaths throughout the year one of them is Passover. According to date software we can see it was a weekday when he was crucifed which was a high shabath (Passover) and then Friday she went get the spices ( before Friday shabath ) and Jesus was...

Re: Caught In Hail Storm
Agreed. What I don’t agree is the worship. We are to worship everyday it’s not just a Saturday thing. You don't worship everyday. You can't. The 4th commandment is clear on why, and how we should worship...and if you work 5 or 6 days a week, you're not worshipping in the manner GOD clearly laid out...

Re: How come Jesus never wrote anything down?
To what degree and exactly what it means that the HS inspired the writers of the various books, poems, songs and letters that make up the bible, is hotly contested. The inspiration and inerrancy of scripture is absolute. What is contested is the interpretation. Some believe that the writers were in...

Re: How come Jesus never wrote anything down?
The Holy Spirit inspired the whole bible. Just like the prophets it’s all God I’m the doing. The body is just used for the mouth or hands in this case. To what degree and exactly what it means that the HS inspired the writers of the various books, poems, songs and letters that make up the bible, is...
