Re: Are radical Muslims a minority?

Other than learning from the past, in how we conduct ourselves in the present, per our policies, etc., we can't do a dang thing to change our past. Handwringing and blame, assertions and accusations past actions justify Islamists (and other) groups' present and ongoing hatreds and present committed...

Christian conflict with native groups

It's easy to look through history and see how Christians have acted badly to surrounding peoples. Sure no one's perfect but it makes people question Christians' claims. For instance, http://www.nchistoricsites.org/bath/tuscarora.htm How in the world are such people going to give account? Were their ...

Re: sulfur

I don't know if this is accurate but I remember being told that "brimstone" was sulfur. I know my lungs don't even like safe levels of sulfur vapor. Found this out walking on the "safe" path in the volcano field in Hawaii. Yes, I heard that too. Also Sulfur burns at high tempera...

Re: Are radical Muslims a minority?

Bc of the combination of religion and politics in Europe, it was easy for colonizers to go around and justify their actions in the name of God. Christianity teaches to spread itself but in a peaceful way. Other times political/economic actions were viewed as separate from religion, and "Christi...

Wouldn't be surprising as alcohol was used often times as a substitute for water.

Re: Does Kent Hovind believe what he preach?

Apparently the IRS Commisoner has apologized for arresting him and others. http://www.creationliberty.com/articles/hovind.php From what I read it was a blanket apology, not specifically addressed to Kent Hovind himself. I went to a few other websites to verify a few points mentioned in the article ...

Re: Does Kent Hovind believe what he preach?

I've always found Kent Hovind to be a fraud in presenting his YEC position, being more of a used car salesman or auctioneer. So I wasn't very surprised to hear he had been arrested for tax evasion. He also had a list of priors long before the final warrant for his arrest was issued. He was indicted...

Re: Anyone have Aspergers or Autism?

Is Aspergers a disease or just a difference? Neither. It's just the way your brain is wired. And a difference to what? Don't we all consider ourselves normal? (Except maybe for Rick, we all know he's different) I'm not different. I'm special. Special needs, yeah  I'm a man. Of course I have sp...

Well, it is different to neurotypical brains, but some say it's a disease.
