You're too intelligent to honestly believe that.

Re: Well, what about offensive historical public monuments?

I don't know much about the American Civil war, besides what is taught in school, so I searched about Lee and... Seems far more complex then simply saying he was for slavery. I'm sure that plenty of people involved in the perpetuation of horrible injustice had misgivings about it. Does that absolve...

I edited your post for brevity, but don't worry, I was careful to preserve your message.

It's the "Democratic" Party. Calling it the "Democrat" Party makes you look childish and petty.

Re: Well, what about offensive historical public monuments?

You seem to be stuck on the ridiculous notion that there's such a thing as a unified left with a common agenda. That's not the case. We're talking about some guy's opinion. Who cares? I actually just read that there are three times as many statues of Confederate traitors in Washington D.C. as there ...

Re: Well, what about offensive historical public monuments?

The slippery slope argument against removing monuments to heroes of the Confederacy is silly. Today it's Jefferson David, and tomorrow it's Washington, Jefferson, or Lincoln? Please. Guys like Davis, Lee, and Stonewall Jackson are known for one thing and one thing only - trying to destroy our countr...

Re: Media and Charlottesville Racist Riot

So when did we get the heart problem and lose track of Jesus? Just asking, because our racial problems, which do exist, are far less severe than at any other point in the history of our nation and our religious observance is also at a low point.

Blah, not funny. Not offensive, but not funny.

This, on the other hand, is funny.

Re: Do you think LGBT is being forced on us?

[I recall you endorsing sexuality being gray rather than so black and white. That's the consensus view among those who study human sexuality. Whether or not I endorse it is irrelevant. I went black and white for the sake of brevity. As for myself, I guess you could say I starting feeling those funn...

Re: Do you think LGBT is being forced on us?

Seems like you're overcomplicating biology. Remember when you were a wee lad and you gradually came to realize that girls made you feel all funny in weird places? That's how you came to understand that you were straight. Had those funny feelings been caused by guys it's how you'd have come to unders...

Re: Do you think LGBT is being forced on us?

Is an openly gay pastor acceptable? To who? God? According to the denominations that permit openly gay pastors they clearly are. According to those that don't they're clearly not. The same can be said of drinking alcohol, letting your daughter date outside the faith, having surgery, and probably a ...

Ed, What Stu just said is known as being a judaizer. His statement is following OT law. Being a Christian has one condition, and only one condition: Trusting in Christ for salvation. Whether someone accepts homosexuality as a sin or not, doesn't make one a Christian. If you haven't noticed, Stu tak...
