Re: Past Presidents Comments on Immigration

Who is that in your avatar? I always assumed it was Kramer from Seinfeld, but I never really looked at it. Now that I have I was clearly wrong.

Re: Mocking the Poor

They did break the law as they came into the country illegally, which is breaking the law. Oh my God, read a [love] book! ! Purchase a copy of "America for Dummies!" Get a damned library card and use it! NPR has a great podcast called Civics 101. Listen to it! Learn how our country works b...

Re: Past Presidents Comments on Immigration

The thing about liberals wanting open borders, amnesty for all, and extra rights for illegal immigrants is - to put it extremely charitably - a "mischaracterization." Since the rest of the commentary is based on that dishonest premise it's all nonsense. You guys might want to try listening...

Re: Mocking the Poor

Please explain as a liberal why you expect only the American people to go by the law but not illegal aliens.Trump reached out to the Democrats and tried to negotiate but they would not budge like he was maybe willing to do,but Democrats would not budge. Abe, you're not describing the "liberal&...

Re: Mocking the Poor

I don't get the anti-Clinton hysteria. Do you guys not understand how our government works? Three branches? Checks and balances? If Clinton had won we'd have had 2 possible outcomes: 1) Bipartisan compromises 2) Partisan gridlock I didn't include "Armageddon" or "USA becomes Venezuela...

Re: What if Hillary had won?

Why does the original intent make a difference? If the person who wrote it is no longer around then it's up to those who are to decide what it is. The original intent is a matter of interpretation.

For real-world examples of this phenomenon see the Bible and the US Constitution.

Re: What if Hillary had won?

It's the Israeli equivalent of one of those email chains claiming that American kids no longer say the Pledge of Allegiance in school. That's not true, either.

Re: What if Hillary had won?

Interesting cartoon, but it seems like you're missing its message. It's not a picture of a right-thinking individual looking at a 6 while some contrarian jackass claims it's a 9 just to piss everybody off. It's a picture of two people with different perspectives on an issue, both of whom have valid ...

Re: What if Hillary had won?

Hortense, I'm pretty consistent in my disagreement. Tell me water is wet or the sky is blue and I'll agree. Tell me that one anonymous claim about the wind redirecting a missile is definitive proof of a miracle or that the mirror image of a 6 is a 9 and I'll tell you to put more thought into what yo...

Re: What if Hillary had won?

I'm not self-important, entitled, or a member of the younger generation, and I've been on my own in the real world for about 30 years. I'm nobody's spokesman, either. I'm just making an observation.

Also, thanks for joining the conversation. Your empty-headed bile is always a treat.

Re: What if Hillary had won?

Abe, in the unlikely event that your crazy conspiracy theory turns out to be true you're welcome to say you told me so. Until then I'm going to stick to my position that it's nonsense and you're astonishingly gullible. B.W., I have an observation. It seems like your brand of apocalyptic nonsense is ...

OMG, I'M CRYING!

Seriously, Abe, that's completely insane. You actually believe those things?
