Re: The Left Coast Eco Freaks

LA has a set of geological features and weather patterns that seem to make the perfect storm for persistent smog. To be fair - all the joking about CA environmental whacko jokes aside - the terrain and forces of the surrounding mountain ranges, they stack the deck against certain parts of CA - part...

Re: FoxNews: Billy Boy's Gone!

Dunno. What I do know is that if you hold a strong hand with truth in it, you shouldn't fear mere allegations. You don't pay out millions for false, unprovable assertions. And even if the assertions are mostly false, and the one being accused has a provable and questionable immoral history - so emb...

I think anywhere there's a lot of people, a lot of pollution will follow. Look at China for example. It's a wonder Tokyo isn't a toxic waste dump, either. And India? Well, they do have a "pollution" problem, but it's a bit more horrific than harsh chemicals in the air. California has had t...

Re: FoxNews: Billy Boy's Gone!

I will say this last lady, "Hot Chocolate," her claims sounds pretty lame. Clearly, someone put her up to complaining - after so long after the fact. But the rest - he's probably guilty. The younger Murdocks realize that that FoxNews will always be defending O'Reilly over these past payof...

Re: God as a big black woman

I think you guys are petty-fogging the distinction between child and creation.

Naturally though, I dont think my parents have ever referred to me as their "creation"

Re: MOAB Bomb on ISIS

Warning : I know I'm a little eccentric but I'm not a lunatic. But that being said, this may be one of the riskiest things I've said. Not trying to rustle feathers: this is what I really believe. So......... sorry not sorry. This is a fact no president since Thomas Jefferson has understood. The pro...

Re: Did All Humans Come From Adam & Eve?

you know, this question really puzzles me. During the time of Adam and Eve's life, thousands of years ago, there was evidence of similar, bipedal, hominids roaming the earth like us. But if they looked human, were they really human? I don't know. I think Adam and Eve were definitely homo sapiens, th...

If you guys ever feel like you put your foot in your mouth, remember this quote by a British poet, novelist, laureate and linguist B.A. M.A. and PhD Michael Rosen:

Re: The worst apologist in the world

We can all be lousy apologists when we are asked on the street to explain Christianity. Don't worry Nessa, the pressure is pretty great to testify for God. I'm sure everybody has failed at one point and made us all look strange to another person.

Re: Christians targeted in Egypt

Yes, the message to all non-Muslims is, as a matter of fact, very clear no matter WHERE they are. Too right, mate. This is the new Cold War. Front lines are history,. Everywhere there is Islam could erupt into a warzone at any time. 59% of French people don't feel safe anywhere: http://www.breitbar...

Re: From You to George Washington

So back to time traveling and meeting the founders, I wouldn't do it out of fear. It would probably upset the natural flow of events, butterfly effect and all that. BUT wouldn't it be hilarious if we brought them to the future? I can imagine Ben Franklin seeing a car and saying, "What hath God ...
