Re: If Trump the liar claims:

Why does ANYbody take DPRK seriously? The entire Far East from China to Japan and especially South Korea would love us if we toppled Pyongyang. NK has nukes, but they can't use them. If they bombed South Korea, the predominant winds in the region blow north west which just means the plume of radiati...

Re: From You to George Washington

His biography just to see the look on his face. "How dare you reprint my private letters to Martha!"

Of course he was like 6'6 so maybe not a good idea :pound:

Re: #1 Issue to Have Voted Trump-Pence In On

I think that's what is called a "utilitarian" approach to human rights. Meaning you are only as valuable as you are at extending other's happiness. Now, in theory, this seems rational and efficient. But in short, it doesn't work. We view human life irrationally, that it's all precious, val...

Re: Ark Park

I think Ark Park is dumb. Biblical literalism is pretty easy to make fun of and I can see how it would make a lot of Christians cringe. That said, it's their money and if they want to use it to promote their beliefs that's their business. But what if they used tax money, or got tax breaks? Is it st...

Re: Evangelicals need to stop being

Evangelicals has different context based on the person who uses it. For an opponent of Christianity, it's a "snarl word" that means swamp-dweller who only leaves behind his moist muddy dwelling full of moonshine and double-barrelled shotguns to go into civilization to preach about Jesus. (...

Re: Are Christians in politics too much?

Not even a little bit

Christians make up a massive majority, and ought to be represented as such. And their public policies ought to reflect their and their constituents world views.

If anything, there are too few outspoken Christians in politics, not just in the US, but everywhere there is a podium

Re: Loretta Lynch: More marching, blood, death on streets

You're one click from a boring, sterilized, conservative Christian safe space. But until you click that button I'm going to challenge things that I find stupid, hypocritical, or absurd using logic, history, context, facts, and maybe a bit of sarcasm. https://m.popkey.co/b1f975/1VjEL.gif

Re: Can Christians cuss?

Hmm. I think curse words are serious for a reason, because they carry heavy meanings behind them. I won't go into detail about the derivatives of each swear word because big brother is watching, but there is an interpretive tradition behind certain vulgar English words.

What is so wrong about teachers leading prayer? That seems to be the only real issue here.
