Re: Prayers please

You were entirely right. :pound: Fundamelanist make great winos  Seriously though it's been bloody tough. My young guy has been diagnosed with depression and acute social anxiety. It...

Re: All prayers needed

You are so brave Hana A baptism is symbolic of cleansing and renewal in our Saviour but he takes us as we are....wounded and brave. Some days the brave in us see's us through the day and other days we get through wounded and broken. The bravery in fragility is underrated. If you need to swear then s...

Re: Does Kent Hovind believe what he preach?

Another con was with secular Humanists taking advantage of such nonsense and redefining Christian "Fundamentalism" as something akin Islamic Fundamentalism. Foundationally, the doctrine of one set of beliefs lends itself to violence after it's military prophet, whereas "fundamental&q...

Re: Bernie Sanders: Being a Christian Should Disqualify from Office???!!

I'm quite a fan of Bernie Sanders. Smart, compassionate guy. Intellectuals should not be overlooked over brass, agenda grabbing loud mouths. Give me an intellectual argument any day over fear based poor excuse of policy. But the religious arguments fall short with me. Quite frankly I'm quite pleased...

Re: Did God Create Satan?

Ohh look probably. It's debatable but an Omniscient, omnipotent God would have had to know. As He also knew the downfall of Man. But in the spiritual realm where time does not exist....the beginning, middle of all history and the end occupy the same space and no accidents occur. There's no ohh ooops...

Re: To war or not to war

Your conscience must drive you to decide what battles are worth fighting. God will judge your actions based on your intent. Some fight for liberation and others to survive, some fight for monetary gains and others to protect those that can't protect themselves. The end results are the same: Death a...

Re: To war or not to war

In the current landscape with what equates to political, military and religious agenda, any real legitimate questions of Godliness is already lost in the question.......
'To war or not to war?'
Unless it's justified...Not
For imperialism justification seems to not be needed.

Re: To war or not to war

Suppose you are trying to decide if you will fight in a war, and even which side you will fight on? You believe God would decide when and if you are to killed or maimed and you have nothing to do with it, so relax and enjoy it. Do you think that you would be able to decide whether or not to fight? ...

Hana y@};- y@};- Not the news I wanted to hear. My deepest condolences. I'm so very sorry. My heart breaks for you... Sending you all my love while you heal. How deeply you must be hurting. There is nothing I can say to alleviate the sorrow you are feeling but know you are loved. Take your time to h...

Re: Prayers please

Nessa, I think every guy on here can understand that at 15 the prospect of being barely 5"2 inches would have huge ramifications. This was caused by a medical issue, it is not merely a vanity thing or a case of feeling sorry for himself. Nor should bullying or depression by be brushed aside wit...

Re: Prayers please

They think it was an endocrine issue, what happened I guess is somewhat irrelevant to the fact it can't be fixed. They don't think it's genetic, at this stage not a comfort to my son but it is a positive I guess in the future. I haven't noticed any of the symptoms you mentioned B.W but I'll keep an ...

Re: Global Warming: Fake DATA!

By the 1800's there was estimated to be 1 billion people on earth, 2 billion by 1930. Forward 30 years and the was roughly just under half the amount alive today, around 3.5 billion. Today over 7 billion. An increase of 5 billion in under 100 years. Over a span of thousands of years human growth slo...

Re: Prayers please

Sometimes, the best thing, is to pull them out from school for a year. Especially if there's a whole lot of other issues to deal with. There is also home schooling, though that might be a bit of a change at 15 years. I know my sister took a year off, did some work, then went back to finish senior. ...
